I think that the reason it’s been so hard to get over you is because you keep playing me. I start feeling a little better and all of a sudden you decide to make another grand entrance, or exit. It’s really hard to not hate you. I don’t hate you, but every fiber of my being wants to. I’m trying to move on, I am moving on, so just please stop. I know you’re hurt too but you broke my heart. Maybe seeing my face hurts you. Maybe seeing I’m not miserable all the time hurts you. Maybe because I’m not pathetically groveling to have you back HURTS YOU. I’m moving on and I’m trying to be happy. I’m trying to be busy. I’m trying to make more friends.

I think back to our relationship and I used to really miss it, but now I think you’re an absolutely disgusting human being. I looked up to you so much. I still talk highly about you, and I don’t know you. You’re too selfish and immature to ever make it in the world. I’m sick of trying, or not trying, to pretend you don’t affect me anymore.

For the first time in a while, I don’t wake up in the middle of the night because you’re haunting my dreams. I can go out and look at other guys without feeling guilty. I don’t lock myself at home making myself free 24/7 just in case you might want to spend 5 minutes of your time with me.

I’m free and I’m happy and I like life again. I can imagine a future where I’m doing something wonderful. I can imagine myself living a wonderful life. So even though you’ll never read this, just please leave me alone. I’ve tried so hard to be everything you wanted me to be and now I’m tired.

I went out to lunch with my dad yesterday and he was telling me about how my grandpa is mad at my grandma. Apparently she has started going around picking up soda cans and bottles from trash cans. Her reasoning? She was jealous of how fit and how much money her neighbors were making that were also doing it.

Guess I found out where the weird gene comes from in my family.
